About the program

A unique learning experience: two weeks living on the University of Kent campus in the historic city of Canterbury. Students learn English with British teachers, in an international environment with students from different countries.

They experience university life, explore London and the most beautiful towns of southern England, and make friends with students from all over the world. Our team is by their side every step of the way, from departure until they are back home.

What makes it special

  • Real British university life

Students live and study on the University of Kent campus: an experience at a prestigious, highly ranked university.

  • Accredited teaching at every student's level

Qualified British teachers, a placement test, and groups by level and age (from A1+ to C1+), with a maximum of 18 students per class.

  • A truly international environment

Students meet peers from different countries, so English becomes the language of everyday life: in class, on the sports field and at the dinner table.

  • A balance of learning and adventure

Daily lessons, a variety of trips every week to London, Brighton and Dover, and a different evening activity every night.

  • A safe and charming historic city

Canterbury is a calm and famous city with a cathedral on the UNESCO World Heritage List; the city centre is only about 10 minutes from campus.

  • An official certificate and graduation ceremony

The program ends with a graduation ceremony, and every student receives a personal certificate showing their level on the Common European Framework (CEFR) and their study hours.

Travel documents

What to arrange before departure for this program. Tap a document for a step-by-step guide.

  • Valid passportWe recommend a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the return date. Every other document depends on it, so check it first.Every traveller, including childrenBefore registering

    How to do it

    1. 1Check the expiry date of every traveller's passport.
    2. 2If it needs renewing, book an appointment with the Population and Immigration Authority as early as possible - appointments can take weeks in summer.
    3. 3Send us a clear colour copy of the passport's photo page.
  • UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)Israeli passport holders don't need a visa for a short study visit, but every traveller - including children - must have an ETA before flying.Every traveller, including childrenAt least 3 weeks before

    How to do it

    1. 1Download the official UK ETA app, or apply on GOV.UK.
    2. 2Scan the passport in the app and take a photo of the traveller's face. A parent can apply on the child's behalf.
    3. 3Answer the eligibility questions and pay the fee by card.
    4. 4A decision usually arrives by email within 3 working days. The ETA is linked to the passport electronically - send us a copy of the approval email.

    Good to know

    • Valid for 2 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
    • You must travel on the same passport used in the application.
    • Apply only through the official site or app, and avoid third-party sites that charge extra fees.

Travelling on a different passport? You may need a Standard Visitor visa - message us before applying.

  • Travel & medical insuranceTravel insurance with medical cover is required for every participant for the whole program, and isn't included in the program price.Every participantAt least 2 weeks before

    How to do it

    1. 1Buy a travel insurance policy from any insurer, or extend your existing policy to cover travel abroad.
    2. 2Make sure it covers the full dates, from departure day to return day.
    3. 3Check that it includes medical expenses, hospitalisation and emergency evacuation abroad.
    4. 4Send us a copy of the policy in English at least two weeks before departure.

    Good to know

    • Declare any existing medical condition or regular medication to the insurer.
    • Medical costs in the US are very high - choose a higher level of medical cover for New York.
    • We recommend adding cover for luggage, trip cancellation and sports activities.
  • Notarized parental authorization for travelAn English document signed by both parents before a notary, authorizing their child to travel with the GoGlobal team.Every participant under 18 who is not travelling with both parentsAt least 2 weeks before

    How to do it

    1. 1We send you a ready-made English template.
    2. 2Fill in the child's full name and passport number, both parents' details, the destination and dates, and consent to emergency medical treatment.
    3. 3Both parents sign in front of a notary. If one parent is abroad, they can sign before a notary or consulate there.
    4. 4Hand the original to us: the child travels with the original and we keep a copy.

    Good to know

    • In cases of sole custody, attach the relevant legal document instead of the second parent's signature.
    • On the Family Camp, a child travelling with only one parent, or without parents, also needs this authorization.

For Israeli passport holders. Rules can change - confirm on the official sites before applying.

Information for parents

  • We stay in touch with you 24/7 throughout the program, so you can feel reassured at every moment.
