Valid passportBefore registering
We recommend a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the return date. Every other document depends on it, so check it first. Every traveller, including children.
How to do it
- 1Check the expiry date of every traveller's passport.
- 2If it needs renewing, book an appointment with the Population and Immigration Authority as early as possible - appointments can take weeks in summer.
- 3Send us a clear colour copy of the passport's photo page.

Israeli passport holders don't need a visa for a short study visit, but every traveller - including children - must have an ETA before flying. Every traveller, including children.
How to do it

- 2Scan the passport in the app and take a photo of the traveller's face. A parent can apply on the child's behalf.
- 3Answer the eligibility questions and pay the fee by card.
- 4A decision usually arrives by email within 3 working days. The ETA is linked to the passport electronically - send us a copy of the approval email.
Good to know
- Valid for 2 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
- You must travel on the same passport used in the application.
- Apply only through the official site or app, and avoid third-party sites that charge extra fees.
Travelling on a different passport? You may need a Standard Visitor visa - message us before applying.

- 4Send us a copy of the policy in English at least two weeks before departure.
Good to know
